What problems might I encounter if I put a Martin 12 fret neck on a L-00 and a 24.9 scale? or should I use standard Gibson scale for L-00 |

Go for it...you might have to tweak the bracing and BP position. Make sure you address that before you take the plunge. |

When I first saw the L-00 I thought it would make a great 12 fretter. As was said above just layout your bridge plate and bracing so the bridge plate will fall in the proper place with your sclae length and the 12 frets and you should be fine. You might have to adjust your x-brace (if you use one) angle because the bridge and bridge plate will end up further down into the lower bout with the 12 fret design. |

Could you please tell me what angle of x brace should be? I'll use bridge location jig for correct placement of bridge and saddle? |
